Bob Neill of Seaview Consulting has been appointed as the broker to facilitate the sale of Madison. Some of you may remember Bob from his session on business valuations at last years’ conference. Bob has deep experience in advice and has guided licensees and advice practices through sale transitions for over 10 years. Given Bob’s understanding of the Madison community and values, this is a positive appointment. As we have said our primary objective is to ensure our community remains safe. Seaview Consulting understands the importance of this as evidenced this extract of their proposal

‘The nature of the assets that you control are such that the value attributable to them is very much dependent on securing the ongoing support of the underlying advice businesses who maintain the direct client relationship. A key factor in this will be an alignment between the targeted acquirer and the culture of the drivers of the relationship. This includes the business Principals of the advice businesses and the key management staff of the Madison Group.’
