Madison Update – 3 March

Commercial in confidence

There has been no material change since yesterday’s communication.   As you can appreciate, there is a significant amount of information to be placed in the data room to support a sale process and allow interested parties to conduct comprehensive due diligence.  We expect a draft IM to be available late this evening, early tomorrow.   I’ve informed ASIC of the progress during our regular catch up. I also have a meeting with them on Thursday morning, prior to the Brisbane Principals’ forum.

To date, we have issued 15 confidentiality agreements, of which 7 have been executed.  Information briefs have been sent to 40 companies (as I said yesterday to the Sydney community, advice has a very strong future).  I continue to remind you these updates need to remain confidential.  We want to continue to provide daily transparent updates.  To do this, we must be confident the knowledge we share is treated with the care it requires.

Due diligence of a Financial Planning AFSL is comprehensive and complicated.  I will be focussing my time on this process, working with PwC and OneVue to ensure all necessary steps are completed to achieve the right outcomes for our community.  This means I may be hard to reach, so please text if you would like to discuss anything.  I’m happy to chat out of business hours.

We are available if you would like to reach out and ask any questions;

Jaime 0439 079 786
Kerry 0402 145 480
Dave 0466 710 170

Sincerely,
