TGIF! How is everyone? It’s been another big week of news, adapting quickly and dealing with the unknown. Thank goodness we’re not doing it alone. In amongst all of it, we’re still hearing amazing stories from advisers and the community. Post my update yesterday, Bianca Dezotti, Honey & Hive (based in Adelaide and new to the Madison community) sent me a video message. In the message she shared that part of the Honey & Hive philosophy is based on Aristotle’s theory of Eudaimonia! Everyday there is something to smile about.
4:59pm today is the deadline for interested parties to submit their non-binding offers. I spoke to Bob Neill earlier and he tells me there’s still quite a bit of interest and there is at least 2 parties who are submitting offers that we’re comfortable to progress with. This is a very good outcome and I’m looking forward to next week so we can focus on demonstrating how we operate as a community. During this program, the Adviser Panel will be involved in some of the due diligence (the bidders will want to talk to advisers). Therefore, if you have questions you would like answered, please send them through.
Morningstar released this article (CLICK HERE) today. I thought it was worth sharing as it talks about ‘Action bias’. When things seem out of our control, there is a tendency to want to “do something” because it feels so much better than “doing nothing”. This article outlines things to consider in this current environment.
