It was great to see a few new faces attending the Friday afternoon drinks. Thank you for joining us, sharing stories and laughs. Social isolation definitely becomes many of you!
Final bids closed at 5pm this evening. I can confirm both bidders have registered their offer with Bob Neil. This is something to celebrate. In our current environment, having two credible companies progress to this stage is no mean feat! From here, Bob Neil will make a recommendation to PwC and One Vue of preferred party, strategy and the reasons why. The winning bidder will be notified either Monday or Tuesday and then the contract negotiations begin. Bob and his team will be involved throughout this process (a few of you have asked this question) which is also good for Madison as we will have continuity of discussion.
I hope you head into your weekend with some comfort that we are in a good place. A note of thanks to my team, Seaview, PwC and OneVue for getting us to this stage. Most of all, our thanks to you for the conversations, questions and support along the way. Whilst we’re not quite at the finish line, we’re in the race and a lot closer.
