Commercial in confidence

In this morning’s AFR, there was an article regarding the Madison sale and one of the bidders. Last week I mentioned there may be a leak in the media regarding preferred bidders.  As all parties are ASX listed, I was asked to hold any communication identifying the parties by name until they disclosed.  Clime Asset Management has just released a notification to the ASX (Clime ASX Announcement).

Clime Asset Management is indeed an interested party. The CEO is Rod Bristow (LinkedIn) is passionate about advice and working with advisers.  He has led a privately owned Licensee and has a track record of helping practices be successful  On a personal note, I have high regard for Rod as a leader and human being.  Our values are aligned and throughout this process, he has acted professionally and with integrity.  However, as the Clime release states, it’s early discussions and there is no certainty of outcome.
