Madison Transition Update – 7 July

The transition is tracking to our planned schedule and we will have further information for you at the end of the week.  Thank you for working with us to complete all the required activities.

The Good Governance Summit agenda has been released via email (please look out for the invitation).  Due to the current travel and gathering restrictions, we will run a series of workshops across 3 days commencing 10 August.  These will be zoom sessions and the program has been structured to facilitate workshops and interactive sessions to maximise the learning time for participants.  The Summit will kick off with a Principals’ briefing where I will discuss the proposed plans for the next 100 days.  Rod Bristow will be joining me to share his thoughts and insights on the future of advice and advice businesses.

Agenda

The agenda covers a range of topics based on advice and business governance.  We’ve included a cyber security workshop, which we believe will be beneficial to all businesses given many of you have moved to virtual client engagement and digital delivery of documents.  The ethics session hosted by Sarah Bolouri, COO Clime will be very insightful, as she shares stories of ethical decision making from well known cases. This year, we’ve added a “return to work post Covid” workshop which focuses on flexible working environments and maintaining brand consistency.  As always, there will be peer sharing sessions, so you can learn from each other.

Each session identifies ideal audience,  CPD/FASEA knowledge area and a brief synopsis.  Please take time to review the agenda and register for the sessions relevant to you and your team.

We look forward to catching up in August.
