Madison Model Portfolio Update – April 2021
The Madison Investment and Insurance Committee’s house view represents the assessment of our best ideas, asset allocation, and manager selection based on the investment environment. Supported by the expertise of the Clime and Mercer teams, the implementation of our house view is structured through the Proactive Portfolios suite of SMAs.
To preserve the integrity of our house view we will no longer maintain the ‘paper based’ Madison Model Portfolios (MMP) across multiple platforms. The MMPs have historically been used as a reference portfolio rather than an explicit, mandated portfolio. The final performance update for the end of April will be available in mid-May.
To continue the support for Advisers who construct and manage their own portfolios, the updated asset allocation summary (available on the Adviser portal here) includes suggested funds across each asset class noting that allocations are at the asset class level, not individual holdings. The funds listed will be reviewed as part of our ongoing review process.
If you use the MMPs as a guide and would like to discuss a more tailored experience, please contact Andrea at investmentservices@madisonfg.com.au to facilitate a discussion with our Portfolio Managers.
