Madison Transition Update – 13 July

As per our update this morning, we have gone live with the disclosure changes as per our transition timeline. Below are the updates that have occurred:

  • The Advice documents in Xplan have been updated with new disclosures and address changes
  • Word versions of our Advice documents are available in the Adviser Portal
  • The ROA wizard on the BT website is currently being updated, we will advise once this is available
  • If you are providing advice recommending WealthPortal or Proactive please use the guide on adding related party text in Xplan
  • Addendum letters for advice given during the transition period are available in the Adviser Portal
  • ASIC has been notified of the change in controlling entity and Madison’s address
  • The new practice based FSG has replaced the FSG part 1 and Adviser Profiles. The form FSG part 1 and Adviser Profiles are no longer current and must not be issued to clients. Please follow the below steps to submit the FSG for final approval if you haven’t already.
  1. Open the FSG design
  2. From the upper corner of the editior, click ‘Get Approval’
  3. From the Approver dropdown select Kerry Thomas to review
  4. Include a message (optional), and click Send to send the request

If you provide your FSG on your practice website, please ensure it is updated with the new version. In addition, any documentation where you include the Madison address must be updated with our address change Level 12, 20 Hunter Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000 (and submitted to the Governance team via email or CANVA for approval prior to issue).

Madison Transition Plan

We have made changes to the dates for the upcoming Good Governance summit to avoid conflicts with the FASEA exam week and QLD public holidays. Our agenda will remain the same but the new dates are:

Day 1 – Wednesday 12 August
Day 2 – Wednesday 19 August
Day 3 – Thursday 20 August
