You may have seen the media articles about to the sale of SC Australia Holdings 1 Pty Ltd (which incorporates Madison) and the reference to conditions precedents. One of the listed conditions is consent from a creditor of Sargon, or a court order to permit the sale. I’ve raised this with PwC, who indicated the matter is more of an issue as to who gets the sale proceeds, rather than the sale itself.
As per the OneVue ASX announcement, execution of the sale agreement is expected to occur imminently. Thank you to those of you who have called today and check in. Given the number of ASX announcements today across multiple financial institutions, it’s clear the industry is in the process of a significant reshape.
