Madison Update – 6 March

Commercial in confidence

I hope the week has ended well for you and you are looking forward to your weekend.  Our thanks to everyone for attending and participating in the Principals’ briefings, the master classes and PD day sessions. We hope you found each session valuable and informative.

As I mentioned yesterday, the IM is due for distribution to parties who have registered their interest.  Bob Neil tells me there are 15 executed NDAs, which is an excellent result given everything that is going on in the industry.

The next stage of the program is outlined below;

Information Memo Issued Friday 6th March
Submit confirmation of interest Friday 13th March
Only selected parties will be invited to conduct Due Diligence. Selection will be based upon responses received to the information requested under the “Terms of offer” detailed below
Closure of Offers Monday 16th March
Invitation to conduct DD Thursday 19th March
Preferred bidder(s) notified of Due Diligence arrangements
Final and binding bids due Friday 3rd April
Final binding bids due

As you can see, timelines are designed to ensure we move quickly, and allow time for interested parties to be prepared for each stage.  Due Diligence of an AFSL has many components, so these dates may shift a little.  We will keep you informed via our daily update.

Once again, our sincere thanks for the feedback, questions, support and willingness to share your feelings and thoughts throughout this situation.  We are grateful for the honesty and candour.

Sending birthday wishes to Paul Beauchamp and David Hunt for today.  I hope you enjoy your celebrations.

Wherever you are this weekend, I hope you’re spending time with people who matter most in your life.

Call/text/email your questions to any of the team.
